Nice dinner with parents at Abê
Mateo near our table is just a plus ;)
Haven’t seen my babies for weeks… the warm welcome I got is
I was not going to post until the last hour of the day but due to faulty internet connection, I had to post early.
And so here it is! A day of tea and babies.
Tea and laughter with residents and friends;
And a handsome baby being weaned off of the isolette. :)
His future is bright, I know he’ll recover. :)
A lot of things made me happy today…
I had a very interesting rollercoaster chat with a very dear friend from way back (hs)
I had a quick and cute elevator conversation with a close resident
The nurse in the delivery room, out of nowhere, asked me why my skin glows and why it is “makinis”. (I know she might be pulling on my leg but it felt nice nonetheless)

Happiness is finally eating dinner, even if it is the same dinner that has been served to us eversince-chicken surprise bbq wannabe, and even if they ran out of forks so we have to use 2 spoons instead. It filled our empty stomachs at hours past dinner time.
Happiness is also having a comfy enough place to generate sleep during on-call evenings.
Happiness is having a resident with a sense of humor along your wavelength.
Happiness is food, sleep, and happy company.
